Another memory of Halloween Past. I am so looking forward to my first Halloween back in the USA. I spent this afternoon getting the front of my house ready for Trick or Treaters. I only hope the wind stays relatively calm until Wednesday.

It is getting close to Halloween, and that makes me think of past Halloweens. Here is last year in Torreon. We had a Witches Tea Party. Aren't the costumes great!! And a great fun for a girls night out!

Tuesday was my first craft day since returning to Cedar Falls. Here is what we made and the craft group. After making our cats, we had dinner of fried chicken, salads, and desserts. What a great way to spend the evening, crafting, visiting with friends and good foods.

Nettie wanted a picture of us on the Blog, so thought I would upload this one to see if we can get it put into our profile. Besides, it may be the only chance to prove that Nettie can steer the boat.

It was a short sailing season for Mike. It has turned cold here and so Mike put 'Obiwanders, Mas' into storage for the winter. We only got to actually sail her about four times. And we slept on her three nights. She sure is more comfortable that the previous 'Obi-Wanders', and this one has a 'head'. In my old age, I sure appreciate that. See you in the spring Lake Red Rock.

Friday, more or less at the spur of the moment, my group of lady friends decided to visit a former resident of Cedar Falls in Clear Lake, before she leaves for the winter to Florida. So right after Pat's therapy and my dentist appointment we went on a 'road trip' to Clear Lake and the Tea Room there. What great fun it was to have lunch with such special women in such an elegant setting. I am so lucky and blest to have wonderful lady friends in my life. We all decided that lunch in a tea room was the way to go. So we are planning on more road trips to more tea rooms. Look out Iowa, here we come!!

I cant stand it!! We woke up this morning to snow!! Just a dusting, but it is way to early for snow. I am not ready for this. It was just a week ago it was 80 degrees here, so the 29 degrees of this morning was hard to take. When I came in from my morning walk, my face was numb!! I was told by one of my Iowa friends that the Farmers Almanac has predicteed a very snow filled winter for this part of the country. Maybe I will need to escape to my trailer in Mesa, Arizona this winter after all. It will be a long winter if it starts snowing in October. Help!!

This past week, I had the opportunity to visit our operation in Rosario Argentina. Rosario is a 150 year old city approximately 3 hours from Buenos Aires. Rio de Plata runs from there to Buenos Aires. As we were leaving to catch our flight home, we persuaded our driver to take us on a quick tour of Buenos Aires. Attache are couple of shots. As always, the people, the culture and the city were a great treat. Enjoy the pictures.
