Some of our friends are in town to escape the Iowa winter. We got together to check out the Fountain Hills Arts Festival. Great fun!

Happy 6th Birthday, Patrick!

I finally got the pictures off my camera and on the computer. So is a picture celebrating Patricks birthday at our house. And of Aaron enjoying the cake and ice cream. Looks like he grew another hand!

Patrick spent part of his holiday weekend with us. Always entertaining!! Here is my latest 'Patrick story'....Patrick was having trouble cleaning the ink off his little 'dog-tag'. I helped him out with a little more elbow grease. He watched and said, "sometime it's easier for you and grandpa to do things because you are bigger." "yes, I guess that can be true", I replied. "

"Grandpa is the best at about everything," he said. Wow, I'm thinking, Mike's head will swell when I tell him this! Then Patrick added, "'Cause he's REALLY old".

Happy 1st Birthday, Lucy!

Jan.29th was Lucy's 1st birthday and we were lucky enough to be home in Iowa for the party.

We love you, Lucia, you get sweeter and sweeter everyday!

40th wedding Anniversary, Jan.25, 2009

Recently, Mike and I celebrated 4o years of wedded bliss.

We had a lovely diner with Katy, Kent and Lucy at the Iowa River Power Co. Lucy was so well behaved! Here she is with Grandpa's hat, later she dropped it on the floor and used it for a target for unwanted vegetables.
