Oh, the joys of living in the mid west. Last night we finally got some much needed rain. What we did not need is the hail that preceeded the rain. We have some damage to the siding of the house. But the cars were all inside the garage. Except for the rental that Mike is taking to Kansas today. Poor Hertz.

We were in different high schools together when we met in 1965. He was a senior at Moeller and she was a junior at Mt. Notre Dame. We have been married since 1969. We have three great kids living in 3 different states, and two darling Grandsons, Mike and Angie's Patrick and Aaron Michael and two beautiful grand daughters. Christopher and Tricia's Madeleine and Laurel Rose, and Katy and Kent's Lucia Anne.

Gee that looks SO nice. NOT! Don't miss those things at all. I'll take the heat. Although the humidity that has come with monsoon season can pass along anytime.
We were on vacation last week and just heard about the storms and flooding (I never read a newspaper or watch the news while on vacation. If the news is that big, I'll hear of it from others). I take it everyone is "high & dry"?
