Yesterday, this group of lovely ladies attended what was called 'ATTITUDES EVENT'. First one I have ever attended. It started at noon and did not end until almost 9:00PM. The day included mini-sessions with topics like "Tips for digital shutterbugs", "Memory Preservation" and "Top tips for Taming the Paper Tiger" and sponsor seminars with subjects titled "New developments in Facial Rejuvenation"( my personal favorite) and "Kitchen Trends & Lifestyles". It also included an exhibition hall with over 70 Exhibitors of almost everything a woman could be interested in---- beauty, home, health, hobbies. And most of them gave away really nice samples and gifts. At the end of the afternoon, there was a dinner(delicious), style show and a keynote speaker, Kim Alexis, a supermodel most famous in the late 70's. It was a really good day esp. since I spent it with my friends pictured here. And to top the evening off 2 of us were WINNERS of the door prizes. Wendy, (in yellow) and Shirley (in lime green). Shirley was the biggest winner because not only did she win the lovely table centerpiece (shown in picture) but she won one of the grand prizes of a private dinner for 8.
